On 10 April 1912, the world’s largest Ship left its dock at Southampton, and started a journey that was to bring the hopes and dreams of 2,228 people to America. Exactly 100 years later, ArtScience Museum will observe the maiden voyage of RMS Titanic with a commemorative activity.
A total of 2,228 Kong Ming lanterns were lit around ArtScience Museum to signal the 100th anniversary of the maiden voyage of RMS Titanic. ArtScience Museum visitors also have chance to pen their wishes on the Kong Ming lanterns and have their photos taken with it.
